About the Salon

Hello,I am the founder of SD SMP LLC: Scalp & Skin Micropigmentation, a specialized cosmetic service dedicated to natural, non-surgical hairline restoration and scalp treatments. My work is centered on delivering refined, undetectable results in a professional, hygienic, and client-focused setting.With an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Education, I previously spent over 16 years as an accomplished professional in the Higher Education field. While helping others achieve their goals was fulfilling, I found myself seeking greater independence and a capacity that would allow me to utilize my creative skills to assist others in enhancing their self-confidence and quality of life.My background includes extensive experience in structured professional environments, with a strong emphasis on discretion, organization, and client care. I operate with a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism that aligns well with medical and aesthetic practices.SD SMP is an appointment-only business, resulting in low daily traffic and a quiet working environment. My goal is to establish a long-term presence in a well-maintained, professional setting where I can continue to build a reputable, high-quality service. As a fourth-generation San Diego native who is naturally caring and outgoing, I have a large social network that supports my endeavors and willingly advocates for my services, often resulting in a high volume of client referrals.Personally, I have always been highly goal-oriented, motivated, hardworking, and responsible. I purchased my own home 14 years ago in Point Loma, which is just a few miles away. I have a five-year-old bulldog named Hank, and we enjoy going to the beach and camping in my RV. I am passionate about art, nature, history, and lead a purpose-driven life of service.I believe I would make a wonderful tenant and that Phenix Salons would be the perfect fit for my growing practice.
