My name is Shawntel Robinson, and I am a native of Daytona Beach, Florida, and the owner of Braid Thairapy by Shawntel. I earned my education in Cosmetology at Daytona State College in DaytonaBeach, Florida and received my Cosmetology Vocational Certificate in 2007. Soon after, I was licensed by the State of Florida as a certified Cosmetologist.After seeking various job opportunities in the state of Georgia, I had a vision to become an entrepreneur and to pursue my passion using my talents as a Braid Thairapist, specializing in protective hair styles andhair care; or Thairapy to be exact.Clients would travel from various cities within the state of Georgia to experience Braid Thairapy; as my skills allowed for quicker braid times and additional hair care, while still maintaining the integrity and creative flair of my work. After providing Thairapy for hundreds of clients, I noticed a need for better hair care even with many protective styles. I decided to invent my own brand called Growth Mix, which is conditioning balm used throughout the scalp that provides the nutrients hair needs.I am a mother of two beautiful Girls.
